Bush and Beach Trails
From twiki
In collaboration with WESSA the Friends of Chintsa successfully sought funding from the Lomas Trust to develop countryside trails through Chintsa. The trails join together bush walks and beach strolls, allowing the rambler to explore indigenous flora and fauna as well as enjoy the giant dunes and expansive sandy beach. During 2009 the funding helped cover the cost of clearing a bush path and building a protective fence around the 'scar' (a deep earthwork used to capture storm water).
Thanks to local contractors for their generosity and also CERPA for the continued assistance in keeping the grass trimmed.
