About
Conscious Cinema is an informal approach to education within Chintsa East, championned by the Friends of Chintsa. The whole focus of the initiative is the environment. A natural history movie is shown every week, free of charge, for anyone who is interested. With incredible footage, these documentaries are providing the residents of Chintsa with an amazing opportunity to enrich their knowledge and understanding of the natural world!
The project runs as a zero cost project; audio/visual equipment is loaned by Volunteer Africa and those who run the cinema give up their time voluntarily.
From the understanding that everyone is on a path of lifelong learning, the aim of the project is to broaden community members understanding of the world in which we share.
