The idea behind this initiative started when I was invited to the African Angels Mama club where they have guest speakers from time to time and I was lucky to hear a talk from a local dentist who gave very handy tips and ideas to the mamas. It got me thinking that all parents should have access to resources like this as it is a good form of preventative health care. So I spent the next few days sourcing support and was lucky to find a good range of speakers from different aspects of health.

The first Good Health 4 all session started on July 26th 2010. The first speaker was Norma Lederle who gave an amazing talk about a range of health and well being issues. About 7 parents attended and Norma shared health tips regarding general well being.

The second session on Monday 23rd August involved local resident Esther who spoke about reflexology and how you can use it to heal minor ailments. The session was attended by 10 Mama's and they found it really useful. One mother said 'we have learnt so much today that can help us'.

The next session on Monday 27th September is Dr. Madelaine Muller who will be speaking about general well being and health.

The Good Health 4 all club takes place on the last Monday of each month between 4.30 - 5.30pm at Chintsa East Public School.
