Surf academy students are given a historical overview of surfing from the first surfboards to the latest new style short boards.Most of the surfboard introduction will mainly be focused on mini-malubu surfboards.These are the surfboards that will be used in the surf academy and which the students will learn to ride there first waves on! The intro will cover all aspects of a surfboard from the obvious (size and volume) to the finest details such as shape design,fins,leash,wax etc.. Wetsuits being a very important part of surfing is our last focus and explains the warmth the wetsuits give you and how important it is to never let your body temp drop in the ocean whilst surfing!!
