Project name: Chintsa Feeding Scheme
Partners: Volunteer Africa 32˚ South - Friends of Chintsa - Chintsa East Public School
Date: 19th May 2009
Project Aims: For all learners of Chintsa East Public School to receive school lunch every school day.
Project Objectives:
- To generate long-term income from interested benefactors.
- For a suitable and experienced cook to be employed.
- To purchase all necessary equipment for cooking, serving and eating utensils.
- To supply at least one cooked meal during the school day to each learner.
Project conclusion:
- When such time arises that the government entirely supports the project it is the intention of this project to cease.
- Any surplus funds will be used for similar initiatives for the benefit on underprivileged children within the Chintsa area.
