As surfing continues to gain popularity and surfers of all ages and skill levels flock to their local surf spots,it is becoming increasingly important for everyone to understand and practice basic surfing safety and surfing etiquette!!All surfers should have knowledge about general safety and guidelines to ensure that everyone can have a safe and enjoyable time in the water!!Surfing is an extremely fun and enjoyable sport but things can easily go wrong from time to time and it's therefore our responsibility to ensure that our surfers are not just capable of handling certain situations but also capable of avoiding a dangerous situation!Learning,understanding and following basic surfing etiquette is a must for every surfer in and out of the water!Failing to follow these rules could be extremely dangerous in the water(eg.paddling the wrong way to avoid a surfer riding a wave)Also not knowing these rules creates an ugly vibe in the water and this just ends up taking the fun and stoke out of surfing.REMEMBER - The best surfer at any beach is the one who is having the most fun!!!!!!
